Sessions submissions

Dear colleague,

Open calls for session extended to 24. November

We hereby invite you to take an active part in organizing the scientific programme of the conference by suggesting and organizing a session in your field of Geographic research. 

NGM 2026 offers three session formats (90 minutes per slot):

• Oral presentations: max. 15 minutes for individual presentations and time for discussion.
• Panels: short presentations and a subsequent panel discussion.
• A session format other than the ones mentioned above: please give a description of the suggested format in your session proposal.

To submit a session proposal please go to the session proposal registration, and fill out the form (name and description of session (200-400 words); name, e-mail and affiliation of organizer/´s) 

Session proposals are subject to review by the Scientific Advisory Committee, and a decision on session acceptance will be given before the middle of December 2025. Please note that session organizers will be responsible for organizing their session once their session is accepted, including circulating invitations for the session, selecting participants, and session coordination.

List of sessions will be available on this webpage in the middle of January and the call for abstracts and registration will open end of January 2026.
